Lefroy Skating Club
2026/2027 Season

Welcome
Welcome to Lefroy Skating Club, a not-for-profit community skating club dedicated to helping skaters develop confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of skating.
Our programs run on Mondays and Wednesdays from October to March and are designed to support skaters at different stages of their skating journey — from first steps on the ice to continued skill development in figure skating.
The 2026–2027 season will run from October 5, 2026 to March 24, 2027.

Learn to Skate — CanSkate
Our Learn to Skate program, known nationally as CanSkate, is ideal for beginner skaters and those looking to build strong foundational skating skills.
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program and focuses on balance, control, and agility in a fun, active group environment. Skaters progress at their own pace while building the skills needed for recreational skating, hockey, ringette, figure skating, or simply enjoying time on the ice.

Junior/Intermediate
Our Junior/Intermediate STARSkate program is designed for skaters who have developed basic skating skills and are ready to continue progressing through the Skate Canada STARSkate pathway.
This program introduces, builds on, and further develops figure skating skills, including edges, turns, stroking, skating skills, freeskate, dance, jumps, spins, performance basics, and program components. Skaters will continue to build confidence, independence, and technical ability in a supportive club environment as they advance beyond CanSkate and continue developing their abilities in figure skating.
